Survey Technician - Heavy Civil Construction

TEAM & CULTURE

• Our Survey Team is seeking an individual with a flexible schedule to work with our team on multiple heavy civil construction projects throughout British Columbia.
• The right candidate will have the training and confidence to support the construction team in earthworks, concrete structures, and pipelines.
• A Surveyor’s first responsibility is to perform duties in a safe and effective manner at all times on the job site.
• You must have neat handwriting for recording field data, be able to interpret construction drawings and perform on-the-spot field calculations for layout, build complex templates from road alignments, and have strong mathematical skills, and attention to detail.

• As a Surveyor you will perform field layout and calculations, carry out topographical surveys, work off GPS setups and third-party control networks, work with Total Station and GNSS survey gear, and establish new control in remote locations. A thorough understanding of Trimble GNSS and Robotic equipment is mandatory.
