Skilled Labourer - Project based in Northern B.C.

- DENT is seeking a candidate to join a remote work sites in Northern B.C. as a Skilled Labourer.

- Our projects are demanding and being physically fit is required, as is the ability to work 10-12 hour shifts while living in a remote construction camp.

- Must be comfortable working in remote environments and in all weather conditions.

- The ideal candidate will have heavy civil construction labour experience, and be highly adaptable in a demanding environment.

- Successful candidates will provide their own transportation to and from site &/or designated marshalling point.

Expectations

• Perform any labor duties when instructed.
• mechanical and civil removals
• small tool use
• Work around heavy equipment, assisting with various tasks including, operating compactors/plate tampers, installation of geofabrics and liners, and other construction tasks.
• Willingness to perform and complete tasks as instructed on an as needed basis.
• Strong communicator
• Ability to collaborate and work well with a team
  
• Valid OFA3 would be an asset
• Carpentry experience an asset
• Confined space experience an asset

Qualifications

• Must be willing to do shift work.
  
• Background and heavy civil experience an asset.
• Class 5 driver’s license is required.
