Job Description

The Skilled Labourer plays a crucial role in executing physical tasks and proficiently utilizing various tools at commercial construction projects. This position requires a strong emphasis on safety compliance, teamwork, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the application of 3 or more construction crafts
• Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
• Concrete experience, including pouring, spreading, and finishing.
• Familiarity with workplace safety, including safe lifting and handling procedures.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Competence in operating required equipment safely.
• Effective communication with Superintendents, coworkers, and customers.
• Strong client service and public interaction skills.
• Excellent time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
• Proactive in staying updated with job knowledge.
• Respect for diversity and treating others with respect.
• Independence in completing daily tasks according to the work schedule.
• Adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Willing to suggest or implement improvements.
