  • The successful candidate will have field experience in Heavy Civil Construction and be someone comfortable with a fast pace & dynamic environment.
  • They will be able to adapt well under pressure, be self motivated and take direction well.
  • As a coordinator this person will work collaboratively with all departments on site.
  • Being a team player and having strong communication skills is a must.
  • The successful candidate will have field experience in testing soil & concrete. 
  • You have exemplary verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable working with data and reporting it in a timely manner.
  • Due to the remote location of the site you are comfortable traveling through rough terrain and have a fitness level to meet the physical demands of the role.
  • The project site is in the Boston Bar area of the Fraser valley, and will require the successful candidate to be willing to work primarily outdoors, in variable weather conditions.
  • Accommodation can be provided in the Boston Bar area, or LOA can be paid.

This is a day-rate position and will be based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in comparable environments
  • Advanced understanding and command of MS Office
  • Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of cost control in Civil construction site
  • Civil construction experience an asset
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of the job
  • Competence using Microsoft Word and Excel
