  • As a Pipeline Protection Technician, you will be responsible for safeguarding Trans Mountain’s assets from external mechanical damage during ground disturbance activities.
  • Your role will ensure that all pipeline infrastructure is accurately identified and that stakeholders are fully informed on safe practices and protocols when operating near these assets.
  • You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the pipeline system and promoting safety and awareness across all interactions.
  • This is a field-based role requiring the successful candidate to reside in the Fraser Valley/Sumas, BC area to ensure timely access to job sites and operational support.

Qualifications & Professional Experience

  • Technical Diploma in a related field.
  • Journeyman trade certification.
  • Experience in line locating and pipeline construction considered and asset.
  • Ground Disturbance Level II is considered an asset.
  • Spill response training considered an asset.

Other Requirements and Information

  • Valid provincial driver’s license.
  • Experience with ATV, snowmobile, and boat operations considered an asset.
  • A valid and current passport is recommended for potential travel requirements.
