Mine Security Guard: Basic First aid

We're seeking exceptional, experienced Security Professionals with OFA 1/ Basic first aid for our high-profile Remote camp site near Vanderhoof. This opportunity promises a professional environment and competitive wages as part of our commitment to a living wage.

Hours of work: 12-hour shifts, 14 days on 14 days off

Wages: $22.19 per hour (Annual earnings up to $60,000)

What you would do:

• Observe and report suspicious activity, and report security breaches
• Respond to incident/emergency situations and follow protocol
• Provide perimeter security coverage
• Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site
• Maintain a logbook and regular radio check ins and security report writing duties
• Patrolling of designated areas in an outdoor environment
• Provide a visual security presence - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
• Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
