The Manager, Contracts & Procurement will lead all project contracting and procurement functions, including the planning, organizing, and managing of staff, and activities. They will collaboratively with external risk, insurance and legal counsel, commercial professionals, and a diverse group of GCMC management, employees, and other external parties to develop, recommend, and implement contracting and procurement strategies, with the objective of advancing Project and business objectives.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education from a recognized institution is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
10+ years of experience in an Owner’s team type environment from an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), or engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) company, running and implementing contract lifecycle activities
Large mining project (+$1B) experience is preferred
