Overview

- Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions.

- The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

Work Location & Travel Expectations:

This role is based out of our corporate office; however, a strong on-site presence is essential to be effective in the position. The successful candidate is expected to spend a significant amount of time at the mine site—at minimum, one week per month—with additional travel as needed based on business priorities.

Qualifications

- Engineering or Science Degree in hydrology, hydrogeology, or related field with a post-graduate qualification preferred

- Minimum of seven years hydrology (surface water) and or hydrogeology experience, preferably in the mining industry

- Experience leading development and implementation of water management plans and programs (eg. Goldsim), and risk evaluation of water quality and quantity

- Technical knowledge of federal and provincial mining water practices and regulations is required

- Minimum five years’ demonstrated experience in roles of progressively increasing responsibility in project management and delivery

- Professional designation and meet the BC provincial requirements of a qualified professional in a water-related field is an asset

- Proficient in environmental analysis and reporting

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to relate to all levels internally and externally, and in both formal and informal settings
