Gasfitter - B Class

What You'll Do Here:

• Install gas meters at residential and small commercial properties.
• Perform safety checks and leak tests on newly installed meters.
• Perform relights on appliances
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Interact with customers professionally, explaining the installation process and addressing any concerns.
• Accurately document all installation activities.
• Complete and submit necessary paperwork and report to the Field Service Leader.
• Use a handheld device for digital data entry in an electronic work order system.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Class B gas fitting license, valid in British Columbia is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with digital data entry and using electronic devices.
• Valid driver’s license (abstract required).
• Criminal background check required.

Overtime: As per collective agreement

Schedule: 5x2, 10 hour days
