  • As Advisor, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications – Major Projects (Contract) with Trans Mountain, you’ll play a key role in public and community engagement and communication for major projects along the pipeline corridor.
  • Based in our Burnaby, Kamloops or Edmonton office, this position reports to the Team Lead, External Relations.

  • You will be responsible for executing engagement activities, developing communication materials, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including local governments, community groups, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • University degree in Communications, Public Affairs, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or public affairs.
  • Strong understanding of community relations and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with event planning and stakeholder outreach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in digital communication platforms and tools.

Other Requirements and Information

  • Attendance at events and support required outside regular business hours.
  • Travel to work sites may be required.
    • If based in Burnaby, travel may range from 10–25% of the time.
    • For candidates located in Kamloops or Edmonton, travel is expected to be closer to 5–10%.
