- The Yellowhead Project is a large, long-life copper project that Taseko added to its development portfolio in 2019.

- Located 150km north of Kamloops in the Thompson-Nicola region of BC, the Yellowhead deposit is similar to the Gibraltar deposit in size and grade.

- The Company is currently preparing to initiate the provincial and federal Environmental Assessment process for Yellowhead, while advancing technical and other work required to move the project towards production.

- Taseko’s strategy is to sustainably and profitably - grow the company through developing our pipeline of high-quality advanced-stage mineral assets.

- We are looking for qualified applicants who are interested in joining our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Work to foster and maintain positive relationships with local Indigenous communities and the local community.

- ​Coordinate Indigenous Implementation Committee meetings, including preparation of meeting minutes, along with tracking of action items and Goals & Objectives.

- Coordinate events, fundraising, and tours for Indigenous and local community groups.

- Support indigenous engagement and awareness, along with being a resource for employees.

- Preparation and facilitating presentations.

- Support Human Resources Department with hiring of local Indigenous peoples and work to improve hiring success of Indigenous candidates.

- Work with procurement to ingrain consideration of Indigenous contractors and partners.

- Assist in the development and execution of social media content on various platforms.

- Be a safety leader and mentor to those within the department and site.
