Position

The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer (Operations) is the Technical Authority for all Rotating Equipment of the Woodfibre LNG Plant. Prior to start-up of the plant, you will work closely with project engineers to ensure that all rotating equipment is designed, built, and commissioned to ensure safe and reliable operations for the operating phase of the plant. During Operations, you are the subject matter expert for all issues relating Rotating equipment and will be performing hands on diagnoses, preparation for repairs, and overhauls on various types of rotating equipment. The successful candidate reports directly to the Engineering Manager and will play an essential part in supporting the company through the construction phase of the project into steady state operations

  • This role will be a combination of office and site based.
  • The position is based in Squamish, BC (Project Site), with an initial stay period at the Vancouver Office, followed by travel to the Module Fabrication Yards in China and a visit to Houston project office as required.
